"Item Enhancement"

What is "Item Enhancement"?
Item Enhancement in a nutshell basically making your weapons and armour stronger/more effective.
All items can be upgraded apart from the items marked "non-upgradeable".

What do I get from upgradeing my items?
If it's a weapon, the damage of the weapon will increase, if it's an armour the defensive capability of the armour will increase.
If your weapon or armour has a bonus stat this will also increase upon every upgrade by 10%.
Every time you upgrade your items, you will recieve a "+" bonus.
The + bonus follows the items name, and if you manage to reach +9 your item will recieve an additional bonus.
The additional bonus's you can recieve from +9 items are listed in the image below:

Here is a list of the enhancement in general:

What do I need to upgrade my items?
To get to +6 you will need items called "Oriharukon Powders". If you are unsure as to what one of those is, click on the "Mounts" tab on the left hand side and scroll down to "What is a powder?".
To get from +6 to +9 you will need "Laktorerium Powders". Again if you are unsure as to what one of those is, click on the "Mounts" tab on the left hand side and scroll down to "What is a powder?".
Here are the items you will need to achieve a +9 item:

Please Note: The higher the class of your weapon and armor - the harder it will be to refine them. Low-class items have a high success rate so you can your reduce powder investment rate. As the item class level gets higher, refining success rate gets lower, resulting to an increase in powder consumption.

I see people with 'shiny' armour, do my items change the way they look through enhancement?
Yes they do!

Can I fail upgradeing?
Yes, unfortunately you can fail upgradeing and at several points in the complete process of enhancement your item will be destroyed.
Here is the first method I will list of destruction - It is when you are attempting to make your item +7:

Please Note: If you fail to upgrade your item at a stage where your item will not be destroyed, the success rate of your item upgradeing the next time round will increase.

You only mentioned one method, what are the others?
1. When attempting to +10 your item.
2. When attempting to make your item "ancient".

How do I make my item +10?
First and foremost, you need your weapon or armour to be of ancient status (to find out how scroll down).
You go to Ailine, you find him in Azran.
You need a wise mans stone and 50,000,000 gold:

In order to make your item +10, you will need two +9 items.
You can also use certain stones that will add an extra bonus onto your item:

Here are some images that explain how it's done:

The bonus you recieve on your +10 item will be calculated on the basis of the bonus's of other items. i.e.:
A Gold embossed gloves +9 Defense 50 Damage increase 30 & A Gold embossed gloves +9 Defense 40 Damage increase 24
Wise Man's stone
jewelry 1~4
Will result in:

1. Gold embossed gloves +10 Defense 50 Damage increase 30 + <jewelry option> or
2. Gold embossed gloves +10 Defense 40 Damage increase 30 + <jewelry option> or
3. Gold embossed gloves +10 Defense 40 Damage increase 24 + <jewelry option> or
4. Gold embossed gloves +10 Defense 50 Damage increase 24 + <jewelry option>

Please Note:

How do I make my items ancient(legendary)?
Much like upgradeing your items useing powders, to upgrade your items to legendary status you need items called 'ores'.
The ores look like this:

To attempt to upgrade your items simply drag the ore onto the weapon or armour like you would if you were upgradeing with powders.
Although it's noted below remember if you fail, your item WILL be destroyed.
